AI Policy
Amazon’s definition of AI-generated and AI-assisted is:
- AI-generated content: Text, images, or translations created by an AI-based tool, even if you applied substantial edits afterwards.
- AI-assisted content: Human-created content, whether text or images, even if later edited or refined using AI-based tools.
The Electric Scroll’s AI policy is as follows:
- We are happy to accept AI-assisted manuscripts that otherwise meet our standards. We will not accept AI-generated manuscripts.
- We will not create AI-generated covers for our books. If an author supplies us with a cover for their book, we will use their preferred cover, regardless of AI status.
- Our book covers will also be created by a human being, by hand, from stock images. Our cover artists will use no AI in the creation of covers.
